After seeing an infomercial about Generac generators, I called Generac to get names of local approved contractors. Keares was one of a half dozen that Generac recommended. I had met with and received quotes from several of them before I met Skip from Keares. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. He was willing to travel the considerable distance from Keares’ office to my home at the time of my choosing. He spent a generous amount of time answering my questions. He identified the various issues in my house that would have to be addressed to get it set up; he was confident that it could all be accomplished smoothly; and he came in with a price that blew away all the prior quotes I had gotten. Skip’s professionalism shined through the entire organization. Dealing with everyone from the office staff to the installers to the customer service personnel was a pleasure. I had previously told them I was only able to take one day off to be home for the installation. They arrived early in the morning on the day that we had scheduled, and they stayed until the job was completed well into the evening. Every aspect of their work was clean and absolutely first rate – the setting of the generator and the transfer switch in the prescribed locations, the extensive electrical wiring and natural gas piping through the house, the thorough explanation they cheerfully gave me, at the end of their long day, on the method of operation of the entire system. My good friend who is a contractor came by the house a few days later to take a look at the installation, and was clearly impressed. He said no one could have done it better.
